McNabb Named WMBL Pitcher Of The Week

Terry McNabb of the Moose Jaw Miller Express has been named the WMBL Pitcher of the Week.

Terry is a 22 year old Davidson, Saskatchewan product who just completed his senior season at Division 1 North Carolina Central University. For the week of 5/30-6/5 Terry posted an opening day win against division rival Saskatoon Yellow Jackets by throwing 8 innings, striking out 10 and allowing only a single earned run.

His next appearance came in relief as a result of back to back rain-outs, and rather than throwing a scheduled bullpen, threw 2 scoreless innings against the Regina Red Sox, striking out 4 and picking up his second win of the year in the 13th inning during their home opener.

2014 will be Terry's 4th year with the Miller Express and he has been a fan favorite each of those years because of his demeanor and the competitive nature he brings to the mound each outing. He's a Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) major, carrying a 3.7 GPA, and upon graduating will look to return to teach back in Saskatchewan, or continue with the family farming business around the Davidson area.

He's a core member of the Millers leadership group, and has been a quality teammate on every organization he's played for. He's been a great ambassador for Baseball Saskatchewan everywhere he goes and we're proud to have Terry back with us in a Moose Jaw Miller Uniform for his final year.
