“Robbie has been an everyday player since stepping on to campus at Davis & Elkins,” said Millers Head Coach Michael Hunt. “He’s a top of the order, gap-to-gap, table setter in the lineup and should feel right at home at Ross Wells Park.”

Able, OF, 6’2” 210lbs, is from Leawood, Kansas and spent this season at Central Missouri. In 37 games this season Able had six doubles, three triples, one home run, 26 RBI, and a .350 batting average.

“Travis is a tremendous centre fielder who has big-game experience from the 2016 Division 2 College World Series,” said Hunt. “He’s a grinder at the plater who has a knack for getting on base and making things happen.”

Doran, SS, 6’0” 155lbs, is from Montana, Curacao and played this season at Indian Hills Community College. In 37 games this season Doran has one double, two home runs, 12 RBI, and a .250 batting average. On the mound he appeared in eight games, in 18.1 innings he had 11 strikeouts and 11 walks.

“Joshmar is another dual threat, this spring he spent plenty of time at shortstop and saw innings on the hill,” said Hunt. “He’ll spend the majority of this summer in the field for us, he’s a slick fielding player who brings a little bit of flair to the position.”

The Millers open the 2017 WMBL season Thursday, June 1 in Swift Current, their home opener will be Friday, June 2 against Weyburn at Ross Wells Park.
