Former Millers Pitcher Taken in MLB Draft
Travis Kuhn pitched in Moose Jaw during the summer of 2016 and now he's heading to the majors.
Kuhn was selected by the Seattle Mariners with the 576th pick in the 19th round of the 2019 MLB Draft on Wednesday.
The Norco, California product just completed his junior season with the University of San Diego. He pitched 48 1/3 innings with 64 strikeouts in 23 appearances.
During his season with the Miller Express, Kuhn went 2-0 with a 0.81 earned run average. He had 29 strikeouts to 14 walks in 22 innings pitched.
